About Me

Hi, I'm Yavik. It's pronounced Yah-Vik. I am a curious and driven person who enjoys coffee way too much. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, photography, learning new things, listening to podcasts and tinkering with my servers at home.

I currently work in the live events industry as a video engineer and tech coordinator. To elaborate, I'm the person that designs and programs workflows that go into producing video content for events and concerts. This includes video recording, live streaming solutions, playback, and the gigantic led walls you see at concerts and events.

While I enjoy my current work, I aspire to enter the software engineering industry as a Dev-Ops Engineer because of my love for automation. I am proficient in programming with C++, Java, and my favorite, Python. Additionally, I am experienced with Git Actions/CI and Jenkins for Automations, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux Administration, NGINX, AWS infrastructure.

Fun fact: I've seen more than 200 concerts and have the tinnitus to prove it.
